Unsure about a certain company. First EFL job! Help!! was created by CeltaNewbie
Hello everyone!
Hope all is well.
After recently completing my Celta course with a pass, I've been searching for jobs quite extensively.
I came across this job for teaching kids and teens for a school in Thailand. All seems well, however, the company or recruiters (startsmarteducation) have barely if any reviews online. The contract is for 4-5 months and they pay around 33,000 Baht a month.
Does anyone know anything about them? Or has anyone taught for them before?
I've heard that some companies have foreign teachers working illegally without them knowing by having the wrong Visa.
Thanks for reading!
